Wimborne Become Latest Club With 3G Pitch

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Wimborne Town have announced the latest improvement to their impressive New Cuthbury stadium.

The Magpies will become the latest in a growing list of non-League clubs with a 3G pitch.

Construction of the new 3G pitch will commence on 22nd March and will take approximately three months to construct, weather conditions permitting of course.

Wimborne moved to their new ground last year and the excellent bespoke facilities include two pitches and spectator stands, built to FA standards, a large kitchen and communal space, so that the club will be able to host events and private functions.

Although the club and its supporters were sad to leave behind their former stadium Cuthbury on the other side of the town – their home since their formation in 1878 – the new facilities are superb and enhance the fans` experience.
