Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Leiston have made a fifth new signing ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Having already recruited Brendan Ocran, Adam Mills, Siju Odelusi and Seb Dunbar, the Blues have now brought in midfielder George Quantrell from Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Stowmarket Town.
Quantrell burst on to the scene at Greens Meadow back in February 2019, scoring a late winner in Stowmarket’s Suffolk Premier Cup quarter final against Brantham Athletic in just his second appearance.
After a string of impressive performances, Quantrell left Stow to return to his former club Dereham Town in February 2020 before returning for a second spell with Stow in September 2020.
