Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Stourbridge have signed midfielder Reece King.

The 26-year-old arrives at the War Memorial Athletic Ground from Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Buxton, for whom he joined in February 2020.

He signed for Vanarama National League North side Leamington in June 2019 from Hednesford Town, where he made 37 appearances and scooped numerous club awards including managers`, players` and the Travel Club’s player of the year awards at the end of the 2018/19 season.

He re-joined Hednesford towards the end of August 2019 after finding his chances limited at Leamington and then switched to Buxton.

The central midfielder, who also showed his capabilities in the centre-half position, spent a couple months on-loan with the Pitmen from October 2018 playing a total of 12 times and scoring twice before returning to Gloucester City and then signing permanently in December 2018.

He had joined Gloucester in February 2017 from Malvern Town.
