Mullings Remains at Salisbury

Player-coach commits for 2021/22.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Salisbury have announced that midfielder Darren Mullings will be staying at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium for the 2021/22 season.

The 34-year-old will again be taking the player-coach role, assisting manager Steve Claridge.

Mullings signed for the Whites from Chippenham Town in June 2018.

A former schoolboy under-18 international and England College under-19 representative, after leaving South Gloucester & Stroud College, he joined Bristol Rovers as a trainee and turned professional with them in July 2005.

He spent two seasons with Rovers and during this time was sent out on loan to Clevedon Town.

After his release in the summer of 2007, he joined Torquay United for one season and spent a month on loan to Tiverton Town.

After leaving Torquay, he spent two seasons with Weston-super-Mare before joining Gloucester City in the 2010/11 season.

He spent four seasons with the Tigers and went on to play for Paulton Rovers, Weston for the second time and Gloucester for the second time.

He joined Chippenham in November 2017.
