Corcoran Pens New Hendon Deal

Midfielder agrees to stay with Greens.

Another of Lee Allinson`s squad at Hendon, midfielder Sam Corcoran, has put pen-to-paper for the new Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South season.

Despite the 30-year-old having only joined the Greens in the summer of 2019, he is now one of their longest-serving players.

But, due to lockdowns, has made only 32 appearances and scored 2 goals.

Corcoran moved to Silver Jubilee Park from Southern Premier Division Central side Royston Town.

He had joined the Crows in 2017 from Vanarama National League South outfit St Albans City and made 45 appearances, scoring 3 goals.

He started his career with Colchester United, for whom he made a handful of senior appearances after coming through the ranks.

He also had loan spells with Wealdstone and Lowestoft Town whilst on the U`s books before leaving for Chelmsford City in 2011 and then switched to Hayes & Yeading United a season and a half later before joining the Saints in 2014.

He spent almost three seasons at Clarence Park before joining Hemel Hempstead Town in 2016, for whom he made 21 appearances and scored 3 goals before making a brief return to St Albans.
