After impressing in Saturday`s pre-season friendly against Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier side AFC Portchester, Salisbury signed versatile Welshman Dylan Jones ahead of the new Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South campaign.

Jones is a versatile player capable of playing multiple positions and he notched a fine goal in the Whites`4-1 win at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.

A strong runner with and without the ball, Jones last featured for Vanarama National League North side Hereford FC.

Having joined Hereford on a non-contract basis in November 2020, he went out on dual registration with Midland League Premier Division outfit Worcester City.

The 19-year-old previously enjoyed brief stints with Cardiff City under-23s, Swansea City and Newport County.
