Stourbridge Take Moors Youngster on Loan

Midfielder sent to Glassboys.

Promising young midfielder Melis Bushaj has joined Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Stourbridge on loan from Vanarama National League side Solihull Moors until January 5th, 2022.

He is known to Glassboys boss Mark Yates from his time in charge of the Moors earlier this year and this loan gives him the opportunity to gain more experience of senior football and showcase his talent.

The 19-year-old Coventry-based midfielder or left-sided player is a product of the Solihull Moors Football and Education programme, where he captained their under-19 side.

He also spent time with then-Midland League side Coventry United early in the 2019/20 campaign gaining experience.

He was offered his first professional contract by the Moors in the summer of 2020, and this was extended in January 2021 with his new deal running to the end of this season.

He subsequently transitioned into the first team squad and then joined then- Southern Division One Central outfit Halesowen Town on a short-term loan in mid-October 2020 before the season came to a halt a few weeks later.

He has made three first team appearances for the Moors so far - all in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
