Hartley Wintney, who got their Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South season off to a decent start with a point from their long trip to South Wales to play Merthyr Town, had three new players in their ranks.

Joining The Row late was young midfielder George Sheridan, who signed on a month`s loan from Vanarama National League side Aldershot Town.

The 19-year-old signed his first professional deal with the Shots earlier this summer.

Jordan Edwards is another midfielder who began his career at Swindon Town, where he made one Football League appearance.

He went on loan at Chippenham Town and Marlow before joining Isthmian League Premier Division side Haringey Borough in the summer of 2019.

The 21-year-old switched to then-Southern Division One South outfit Basingstoke Town in September 2019 but returned to Marlow in late January 2020.

Pacey right winger Khalid Zakaria-Simmo also put pen-to-paper for The Row late on.

The 20-year-old started his career with Championship side Reading, coming through the youth set-up.

After being released by the Royals he signed for Hellenic League neighbours Reading City and joins Hartley Wintney from Flackwell Heath.
