Former Baggies Defender Added to Tamworth Ranks

Lambs move for young right-back.

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Tamworth have signed defender Aksum White.

The 20-year-old right-back was released by Championship side West Bromwich Albion at the end of last season.

He came through the academy system at The Hawthorn and was part of the Baggies squad that made history by making the FA Youth Cup semi-finals in 2019/20.

He played for both the under-18s and under-23s and was being talked about as a potential first-teamer, especially during Slavin Bilic`s time in charge.
