Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Hartley Wintney, who head to the North Somerset coast tomorrow to play Weston-super-Mare looking for a second win of the season to date, have signed experienced midfielder Harrison Bayley.
The 31-year-old arrives at the Row from league rivals Beaconsfield Town, who he joined in the summer.
Bayley was virtually an ever-present at Thatcham Town in 2017/18, playing 58 times as they won both the Hellenic League Premier and the Buildbase FA Vase at Wembley.
Such was his contribution he was awarded the players’ player of the year award.
Prior to Thatcham, he had a spell at Binfield having previously captained Highmoor Ibis (now Reading City).
He returned to then-Southern Division One South outfit Thatcham just before Christmas 2019 and then moved to Isthmian South Central side Marlow in June 2020 before switching Beaconsfield.
