Prolific Marksman Joins Kings Langley

New striker for Kings.

Prolific marksman Lewis Putman has re-joined Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Kings Langley.

The now 31-year-old first came to prominence at the age of 19 with Oxhey Jets, netting over 80 goals in one Spartan South Midlands League season.

He signed for Wealdstone in 2013, but serious injury saw him move to a number of clubs, including Hanwell Town, Aylesbury United and Barton Rovers, making the biggest impact at Slough Town between 2015 and 2017.

Moves to Metropolitan Police, Beaconsfield SYCOB, Dorking Wanderers and North Greenford United followed before he signed for Kings Langley in February 2019 following a brief return to Oxhey Jets.

But he then re-joined Jets once more in 2020 and scored 16 goals in 16 games before lockdown.

He had scored 7 goals in 5 games in 2021/22 before returning to The Orbital Fasteners Stadium.
