Pitmen Bring in Former Baggies Forward

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Hednesford Town have signed forward Stanley Asomugha from Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Worcester Raiders.

The 22-year-old joined Raiders in November 2022 from the Pitmen’s league rivals Alvechurch.

He is a pacey striker who can also play out wide.

He started out at Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion aged 14 from a development centre programme and represented the Baggies` under-18 and under-21 teams before being released from The Hawthorns at the end of the 2019/20 season.

He spent a little time out of the game before signing for Alvechurch in February 2022.
