Having made a plethora of signings upon his arrival, Vintila has brought back three popular players from his first successful spell with the club.

Tall centre-back JJ Da Cruz has returned to Theobalds Lane from Isthmian League North Division side New Salamis.

The experienced 34-year-old had moved to New Salamis a year earlier from FC Romania, having originally switched to them in July 2021 from Isthmian North side Heybridge Swifts, where he had been since July 2019.

He moved to England in the summer of 2015 having been with Portuguese sides GDR Portugal, Amora FC and Luso.

He joined Harlow Town in the summer of 2018 from Barking, for whom he signed from Cheshunt midway through the 2017/18 season.

He also counts Hornchurch, Phoenix Sports, Enfield Town and Grays Athletic among his former clubs.

At 6`5” tall, he is an imposing defender with plenty of experience, and in March 2019 he also signed for Southern Premier South side Hendon on dual registration.

Midfielder Shane Cojocarel returns to FC Romania having had some time out of the game.

The 25-year-old had returned to now Vanarama National League South side Cheshunt in August 2019 following a brief return to his native Romania.

He first came to England to join Barnet in 2014 and played a handful of first-team games for the Bees as well as having loan spells with Billericay Town, Northwood, Merstham, Metropolitan Police and Horsham.

He joined Maldon & Tiptree upon his release from The Hive in the summer of 2018 before switching to Cheshunt shortly afterwards.

Another midfielder making the return to the club is 27-year-old Williams Danquah.

Danquah had moved to league rivals Hadley in 2021, having originally signed for FC Romania in October 2020 from league rivals Ware, who he joined in 2018 after a spell at the now defunct Thamesmead Town.

His time in Kent is somewhat misleading, however, as most of his career other than with Dulwich Hamlet has been spent north of the Thames.

He started out at neighbours Hertford Town and has also played for Wingate & Finchley, Bishop's Stortford and Haringey Borough.

He made his debut for Ware from the subs bench in the 2-1 win at Waltham Abbey in December 2018.

Winger Jordan Kinoshi, 26, joins FC Romania from league rivals Welwyn Garden City.

He had re-joined the Citizens in November 2022 from another league rival, Berkhamsted.

He had signed for Berko in August 2022 from another league rival, Barton Rovers.

He had moved to Sharpenhoe Road in February 2022 from Southern Premier Division Central side Hitchin Town, where he had been since November 2021.

He had re-signed for home-town side Welwyn Garden City in August 2021 after a short spell with National League South outfit St Albans City in 2020/21, having originally joined the Citizens in September 2020.

He was with Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich City and Luton Town at youth level and first joined the Citizens after returning to England from the USA where he studied and played for California State University Matadors.

Kosovan goalkeeper Drilon Ajeti has also put pen-to-paper for Vintila.

The 22-year-old has previously played for Spartan South Midlands League side Oxhey Jets in England and for Kosovan outfits FC Lapi and KF Ulpiana.

Another new recruit is 19-year-old former Yeovil Town midfielder Dylan Poku-Aboraa.
