The 22-year-old had moved to Diamonds in August 2022 from Northern Premier League Premier Division side South Shields, where he had been since May 2021.
Comfortable playing as a number 10 or on the flanks, he arrived in the North East having been capped at under-18 level by the Republic of Ireland.
He came through the ranks at Premier League Leicester City and was the Foxes’ under-18`s player of the year in 2018.
He progressed to the under-23s before being released and joining Vanarama National League North side Brackley Town in January 2021.
