Tiverton Bring in Young Glovers Hot-Shot

Charlie Bateson has joined Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Tiverton Town from Vanarama National League side Yeovil Town on a dual registration basis which will see the attacker eligible to also represent the Glovers’ under-18s.

Bateson has clocked up plenty of goals in the academy set up including back to back hat-tricks a few weeks ago.

So far this season, he has struck 11 goals in the South West Counties Youth League and recently opened the scoring against Boreham Wood in the Under-19’s National League Cup.

He was in the Somerset Premier Cup squad for the defeat to Paulton Rovers in midweek and now heads to the Ian Moorcroft Stadium for more first team experience.
