Young Pair Added to Stratford Group

Following the arrival of defender Kieron Dawes, Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Stratford Town have added two young players to their relegation-battling squad.

Forward Josh Waite moves to the Arden Garages Stadium from Vanarama National League North side AFC Telford United.

The 19-year-old had been at the New Bucks Head since August 2022.

He joined the Bucks from Championship side Stoke City following a successful trial period with the club.

He started his career with Stratford’s league rivals Rushall Olympic and signed for Stoke in 2020.

The Bards have also brought in young midfielder Morgan Owen on dual registration with National League side Solihull Moors.

The 18-year-old is an academy graduate at Solihull and has appeared once so far in the first team at The Armco Arena.
