Relegation Battlers Bring in a Striker on Loan

Hednesford Town, battling to avoid relegation from the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central, have brought in forward Jordan Graham on loan from Vanarama National League North side Kettering Town - his second spell with the Pitmen.

The 25-year-old signed for the Poppies in June 2022 from Southern Premier Division Central neighbours AFC Rushden & Diamonds, where he had been since March 2022.

Peterborough-born, he was originally on the books at Leicester City`s academy and then switched to the academy at Oxford United.

Whilst on the U`s books, he had loan spells with Farnborough and Didcot Town.

He was released by Oxford in the summer of 2017 and was signed by League Two Mansfield Town but spent the majority of his first season as a Stag on loan with Hednesford, where he played 33 times and scored 10 goals.

He was promoted to the Stags' first team in 2018/19 and made his Football League debut in the first game of the season, appearing as a sub in the Stags' 3-0 win over Newport County.

He made 8 more appearances before a recurring knee injury sidelined the striker for almost eight months, but he made his return to reserve team football in 2019/20 but was subsequently released in May 2020.

He signed for Tamworth in September 2020 but left the Lambs at the end of the curtailed 2020/21 campaign.
