Baker Borrows Young Shots Attacker

Steve Baker, manager of Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Harrow Borough, has signed young attacker Ben De Lacey-Turner on loan from Vanarama National League side Aldershot Town for the remainder of the season.

The 21-year-old signed a professional development contract and stepped up to the Shots first-team in the summer of 2022.

The Australian-born winger has progressed through the Aldershot academy and after scoring a hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Andover Town in the Hampshire Senior Cup, scored after coming off the bench in a 3-0 win over Welling United in the Isuzu FA Trophy.

He notched an impressive combined total of 21 goals and assists in 22 games for the academy last season.

In 2021/22, De Lacey-Turner played 4 times on loan with Kings Langley, scoring once, and earlier this term, had a month with Harrow’s league rivals Beaconsfield Town, but only appeared once for the Rams.
