Rovers Return for Moulden

Returning to Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Willand Rovers is attacking midfielder Alfie Moulden, who re-joins on dual registration with Northern Premier League Premier Division side Guiseley AFC.

Born in Bradford, he was raised in the East Bowling area of the city and was educated at Bradford City’s academy from the age of 6.

The 21-year-old, who has business interests in two football golf venues in Devon and Cornwall, gained his first experience in senior football in the 2017/18 season scoring 8 goals in 10 games for Langley Town in the North Devon Premier Division.

He then moved to Boca Seniors scoring 9 goals in 16 games prior to signing for South West Peninsular League East side Ilfracombe Town, featuring regularly whilst dual registered with then-Southern League Division One South side Barnstaple Town, making 6 appearances for them

He continued to play regularly for Ilfracombe in the 2019/20 season whilst being dual registered with another Division One South side Bideford AFC.

His chance finally came to play regularly at Step 4 when he joined Willand Rovers ahead of the 2020/21season.

He netted 12 goals in 24 games for the Devon club before signing for Premier Division South outfit Weston-super-Mare in October 2021.

During his time at Weston Moulden had a month’s loan at Tiverton Town and was signed by Guiseley in February.

Rovers have also extended the loan of midfielder Michael Lilley from Premier Division South side Dorchester Town.

The former Exeter City player initially joined Rovers in December 2022.
