Three More Added to FC Romania's Squad

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club FC Romania have added three more players to their squad ahead of Thursday’s deadline.

Goalkeeper Emmanuel Olajide joins the Wolves from Isthmian League North Division side New Salamis.

The 21-year-old joined New Salamis in August 2022 following a brief stay at FC Romania’s league rivals Walthamstow.

He had moved to Stow earlier in the summer of 2022 from Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Harpenden Town.

He has experience at Step 4 level with Barking and has also seen service with Biggleswade United, Colney Heath, FC Broxbourne Borough, Hatfield Town and Bush Hill Rangers.

Defender Wynford Marfo arrives from Isthmian Premier Division side Enfield Town, who he joined in July 2022 from Northern Premier Division One Midlands side St Neots Town.

The 20-year-old had signed for the Saints in the summer of 2021 after being released by League Two side Leyton Orient where he came through the ranks to become a regular for the under-18 side.

Another defender Lorenzo Saponara joins FC Romania on `work experience` from Leyton Orient.

A former Crystal Palace triallist, the 17-year-old progressed through the O’s academy and is now a regular in the under-18 side.
