Keeper Returns to St Ives on Loan

Goalkeeper Ed Brearey has re-joined Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club St Ives Town on `work experience` from League One side Oxford United.

The 18-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at St Ives in the second half of last season.

In September 2022, he joined Southern Premier Division South side North Leigh on `work experience` and then moved to Southern Division One South outfit Evesham United on similar terms in December 2022, having played for United boss Mike Ford when he was assistant-manager at St Ives.

His stint with the Robins was extended until the end of the season before he was recalled by the U’s recently and then sent to St Ives.
