The 24-year-old was part of Vanarama National League club Eastleigh`s scholarship programme, graduating in the summer of 2017, before undertaking an apprenticeship scheme throughout the 2017/18 season.
He was handed a senior contract in 2018/19 and made 15 first-team appearances as well as spending time on loan with Brockenhurst, Blackfield & Langley and Poole Town.
In June 2019, he moved to National League South side Havant & Waterlooville.
He joined Southern Division One South club Lymington Town in the summer of 2020.
Whilst playing for Lymington, Dennett suffered a full ACL rupture, MCL and LCL sprain and fractures around the bone in a Wessex League encounter in September 2020.
He re-joined Brockenhurst in the summer of 2022 and made 28 appearances and scored 8 goals prior to signing for the Magpies.
He works as a performance analyst with Premier League Southampton.
