Salisbury Bring in New Centre-Back

Erion Zabeli has joined Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Salisbury on a `work experience` until the end of the season from League One side Oxford United.

The 18-year-old centre-back from Kosovo was part of the Albania under-19 squad last year.

He is a second-year scholar with the U’s, having joined in the summer of 2021 from Championship side Watford.

Salisbury manager Brian Dutton told his club’s website: “Erion has come in on Non-league deadline day. With a few injuries to our defenders, we needed someone to help for the remainder of the season. Erion has been progressing well at Oxford United and will add some depth to the squad for the remainder of the season”.
