In front of a crowd of 311 at The Powerday Stadium, it was goalless at half-time with neither side having too many opportunities.

But Hendon began the second half on top and Niko Muir came close to opening the scoring before the deadlock was broken in the 67th minute.

Liam Brooks went through a couple of challenges before tucking the ball home past Max Merrick.

Hanwell equalised in the 76th minute with a deflected free-kick from Callum Duffy from the edge of the area.

It will now be all eyes on Saturday’s visit to Dorchester Town to see if Lee Allinson’s side can confirm survival before they embark on a very busy week of games on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to finish off the campaign.
