It's Carry On Robinson

Hungerford Town, relegated from the Vanarama National League South to the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South, have announced that manager Danny Robinson has agreed to continue in his role.

Robinson made the switch to Hungerford in May 2020 after five very successful years with Thatcham Town.

One of his most proud and memorable moments at the club was winning the FA Vase at Wembley in 2018 and he also won the Hellenic League title and guided the Kingfishers to promotion to the Southern League Division One South.

Robinson was on the verge of another promotion with Thatcham before the season was null and voided due to Covid-19 in 2020 and he joined the Crusaders in early May.

Robinson told his club’s website: "Hungerford Town is a special club with some really wonderful people. I am really looking forward to the future and what is to come."

And Robinson will be working with a new chairman with Alan O’Donohue taking over the role at the AGM.

O’Donohue is looking forward to working with Robinson next season, one which should be an exciting season for the club.
