Manager Paul Smith has moved swiftly to bring in prolific marksman Miracle Okafor, who last season scored 27 goals for former NPL Division One Midlands rivals Sporting Khalsa, helping to push them into a play-off spot.
The 22-year-old had moved to Khalsa in January 2022 from Southern Premier Division Central side, Stourbridge, where he had been since August 2021.
He came through then-League Two Scunthorpe United’s academy and spent time with Northern Premier League Division One East side Frickley Athletic on loan before signing for Stourbridge`s league rivals Alvechurch.
He also appeared for Bradford City and in pre-season before the start of the 2019/20 campaign, and struck their winning goal in a friendly at Eccleshill United. However, he signed for Vanarama National League North side Guiseley AFC in December 2020.
Smith told his club’s website: ''Miracle had a fantastic year at Sporting Khalsa and lit our division up last season.
“He is a big, strong, powerful striker, a fantastic young prospect that will only get better''.
