Lambert Returns to Larkhall

Larkhall Athletic have announced the return of Alex Lambert from new Pitching In Southern League Division One South rivals Yate Town.

Manager Ollie Price’s first new signing of the summer is the return of the fans` favourite.

The 31-year-old fast and strong left-sided player originally joined Larkhall in 2016 from Brislington where he featured in the side that reached the FA Cup First Round.

Previous clubs include Mangotsfield United and Yate, where he returned to in the summer of 2022.

Meanwhile, Larkhall have announced that the majority of the 2022/23 squad have agreed, in principle, to re-sign for the upcoming season.

This will give the Larks strong continuity to build on last season’s achievements.

The retained players are:

Sam Boulton, Matt Bowman, Tom Bradley, Jack Camm, Jack Goodall, Wayne Nderemani, Brad Norris, Harley Prior, Dawid Regula, Kye Simpson, Baz Simons, Jordan Williams and Max Williams.

Aaron Parsons and Alfie Kelsey have both decided to move on.
