Fox Agrees to Join Bucks

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central new boys AFC Telford United have announced that defender Nathan Fox will join the Bucks on the 1st July when his contract expires with former Vanarama National League North rivals Peterborough Sports.

The experienced full back will bring knowledge and experience to the back line having previously gained promotion to the National League with King’s Lynn Town in 2020 and was part of the Buxton squad 12 months later that were promoted from Step 3 and the Northern Premier League to the National League North.

Despite promotion, Fox joined Peterborough Sports in June 22 where he has played a key role in ensuring the Turbines remained in the National League North at their first time of asking.

The 30-year-old began his career at Notts County and moved to Derby County where he appeared for the Rams` under-21s.

After leaving Derby he had spells with Corby Town, Rugby Town, Coalville Town and Sutton Coldfield Town.

He joined Hednesford Town in June 2018 following a spell with Redditch United and was then snapped up by King`s Lynn in June 2019.

He helped the Linnets win the title before remaining in the division with Alfreton Town in August 2020.

He moved to Northern Premier side Buxton in the summer of 2021 and, after helping them to win the title, switched to Peterborough Sports.
