Hill Commits to Leiston

Wyatt Hill has penned a new deal at Victory Road, as the full-back looks to kick on after a successful first season with Leiston.

The 29-year-old full back signed for the Blues in June 2022 having helped Wroxham come second in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier in 2021/22 and gain promotion to Step 4 football.

Leiston’s joint boss Chris Wigger has managed Hill before when he was 17 before the player went on to play in America for Davis & Elkins College and he also played professionally in Spain for UD San Pedro but eventually came back to Wroxham where he has played the past few seasons.

Wigger told his club’s website: “Wyatt is a player I have been involved with since he first made the jump into adult football.

“I was delighted when he agreed to join us last season and myself and Darren Eadie are looking forward to building on a great first season with him.

“He’s a fantastic player and a big character in the group”.
