Yate Tie Down Tooze

Yate Town have announced that striker Kyle Tooze has signed a contract to keep him at the Pitching In Southern League Division One South club for the upcoming season.

Manager John Rendell's first piece of business of the summer is retaining last season’s top goalscorer.

Tooze joined Yate in October 2022 but still went on to win the `golden boot`.

The 32-year-old moved to the Bluebells from Paulton Rovers, who he had re-joined in June 2022 from rivals Melksham Town, who he moved to in December 2021.

He had signed for then-Vanarama National League South side Hungerford Town in May 2020 from Thatcham Town and then signed for Bristol Manor Farm in early December 2020.

He had joined the Kingfishers in February 2019 from then-fellow Southern Division One South side Mangotsfield United.

He has also spent time at Button Albion, Yate Town, Swindon Supermarine, Bridgwater Town Paulton Rovers and Larkhall Athletic.
