Four More Commit to Hayes & Yeading for 2023/24

Hayes & Yeading United have revealed four more of last season’s squad to commit to the 2023/24 Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South campaign.

Adam Liddle joined the club from new league rivals Hungerford Town in September 2022 and was part of a successful forward line providing tenacity and providing goals a plenty.

The 23-year-old had only joined the Crusaders in June 2022 from former Southern Premier Division South side Walton Casuals.

He had joined the Stags in August 2021 from National League South side Chelmsford City, where he had been since July 2020.

He signed for City after a spell at League of Ireland side Derry City, leaving when the season was put on hold due to COVID-19.

His footballing education came through the academy at Reading, making numerous appearances for the Royals` under-18 and under-23 sides.

He also has National League South experience having spent a loan spell at Eastbourne Borough between November 2018 and January 2019.

Popular defender Paul Field has also penned a new deal with Hayes & Yeading.

Comfortable in all defensive positions, Field rejoins for a second season, having been runner-up in the supporters` player of the year awards last season.

The 22-year-old joined Hayes & Yeading late in August 2022 having ended the previous campaign with Southern Premier Division Central side Stratford Town.

He started out at League Two side Stevenage and while there had a short loan spell with Spartan South Midlands Leaguers Aylesbury Vale Dynamos.

Hassan Jalloh, a free scoring midfielder who will be looking to get amongst the goals once more this season, has also put pen-to-paper.

The 24-year-old re-joined Hayes & Yeading in late September 2022 from then-Isthmian League Premier Division side Herne Bay, where he had only moved to in the summer of 2022.

He had re-signed for Hayes & Yeading in July 2021 from Southern Premier Division Central side Royston Town, where he had been since December 2020 after making the reverse journey, having re-joined Hayes & Yeading in October 2019.

He started the previous campaign with Hayes prior to moving up to the National League with Havant & Waterlooville.

He has also played for AFC Dunstable, Sittingbourne, East Grinstead Town, Beckenham Town and Greenwich Borough.

Goalkeeper Simon Grant has also penned a new deal and will compete with Jack Smith for the number one jersey.

The 32-year-old re-joined Hayes & Yeading in January 2023 from league rivals Bracknell Town.

He had signed for the Robins in May 2022 and also dual registered with Hungerford in November 2022.

He transferred to Isthmian South Central side Marlow from Ashford Town (Middx) prior to the start of the season 2013/14.

He has also played for AFC Hayes, Slough Town as well as Hayes & Yeading.
