Roger James, a skilful and goalscoring winger, joined Hayes & Yeading in February 2023, and impressed throughout.

He notched 4 goals in 17 games after arriving from North Leigh.

The 27-year-old originally came up through the youth ranks at North Leigh.

He left for a spell with Kidlington before returning to the Millers in 2018.

He switched to Southern Division One Central outfit Cirencester Town in August 2020 before returning to the Millers in June 2021.

He had a fantastic 2021/22, finishing as North Leigh’s top scorer and helping them to win promotion.

Diminutive winger Steve Ngunga has also penned a new deal.

Comfortable on both wings, as well as at full back, he spent most of last season on dual registration with Binfield and Bedfont Sports but impressed at the tail end.

The 19-year-old joined Hayes & Yeading in July 2022 from Rising Ballers.

It was revealed the left back had Everton, Brentford and Watford keeping close tabs on him in 2021/22.

Rising Ballers pick up players who are looking for a chance to make it in the professional game.

Experienced 28-year-old defender Josh Lelan has also agreed to stay.

He joined Hayes & Yeading in January 2023 from Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town and can play centrally or at right-back.

He came through the youth system at Derby County. However, he made his League debut for Swindon Town during a loan spell from the Rams in August 2014 having previously had a loan spell at Gateshead.

He joined Northampton Town for the 2015/16 season but was released at season end having failed to earn a regular place in the Cobblers side during the campaign.

After trialling with several clubs and spending some time back at Derby in the Rams under-23 side, he signed for Crawley Town in January 2017.

He made in excess of 50 appearances for Crawley before switching to National League side Aldershot Town in July 2018 where he remained until the summer of 2019.

He spent the 2021/22 campaign in part with the sadly now defunct Walton Casuals.

Lelan has international honours with Kenya, making his debut in August 2016 against Uganda.

Popular midfielder Amos Nasha has also put pen-to-paper for 2023/24.

Solid, reliable and an integral part of the midfield, he will be entering his third season with Hayes & Yeading and has 94 appearances for the club to date, with 8 goals to his name.

The 27-year-old signed for Hayes & Yeading in October 2020 having spent time the previous season with Dartford, Dulwich Hamlet and Salisbury before ending that campaign at East Thurrock United.

He started out in the youth system at West Ham United, making one first team appearance for the Hammers in the Europa League against FC Lusitanos before moving on briefly to Dover Athletic from whom he joined Concord Rangers.

After two seasons with Concord he signed for Chelmsford City before moving on again after one season whereby he joined Dartford.

Scored his first United goal in November 2020 against Carlisle United in the FA Cup which was to be United's last game of the pandemic curtailed 2020/21 season.

Midfielder Taylor Miles has also committed to the team for a second season, having impressed throughout providing and scoring important goals last year.

The 27-year-old joined Hayes & Yeading in early September 2022 from then-National League South side Cheshunt.

He had signed for the then-Isthmian Premier Ambers in June 2020 from St Albans City.

He had been with the Saints since June 2019 after arriving from National League South rivals Chelmsford City.

He spent the latter part of the 2018/19 season on loan with AFC Hornchurch. He had signed for Chelmsford in January 2018 from Kingstonian.

He started his career in the youth set-up at West Ham United.

In 2016 he joined National League champions Lincoln City from Braintree, having previously worked with the Cowley brothers at Concord Rangers.

From Lincoln, he had loan spells at Boston United and enjoyed a return to Concord, before leaving the Imps following their promotion to League Two and signing for Hemel Hempstead Town in July 2017.
