The 31-year-old Worcester-born attacker scored the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands play-off final winning goal in extra-time to take the Yeltz up to Step 3 in May.
He had been with Halesowen since May 2022 after arriving from JD Cymru Premier side Connah Quay Nomads.
He joined the Nomads in April 2019 having spent a good portion of his career in Scotland, plying his trade at Hibernian and East Fife.
He originally joined Hibs from Stourbridge in 2015 having also played for Littleton earlier in his career.
He was named as the Ladbrokes Scottish League One player of the month award for his performances for East Fife in September 2016.
He made his debut for Connah’s Quay at Bala in April 2019 and in his first full season at Deeside, he scored 17 goals in all competitions, helping lead the Nomads to the Nathaniel MG Cup and Cymru Premier domestic double.
He went on to make a total of 61 competitive starts for the club, scoring on 30 occasions, picking up two Cymru Premier and two Nathaniel MG Cup winners medals along with a runners-up medal in the Welsh Cup.
Redditch manager Matt Clarke told his club’s website: “I’m really pleased to get Jamie over the line. He’s quite a colourful character, he causes controversy and he enjoys social media which under me he knows will have to be far more sensible. Jamie is a winner and will drive people on amongst our group. I’ve spoken to a few people about him and what always comes up is Jamie’s desire, but also his ability. We are signing Jamie because we believe he will score goals if given the chance in the box”.
