York Moves to Coalville

Adam Stevens, manager of Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Coalville Town, has made his third new signing of the close season to date.

Following the arrival of Ashley Carter from Alvechurch and Jake Hutchings from Leiston earlier this summer, Leicester-born wide player Wes York has made the switch to the Ravens from Vanarama National League North side Brackley Town.

The 30-year-old started his career at Nuneaton Borough and won promotion from National League North during his three years at the club.

He joined Wrexham in the summer of 2014 and scored 13 goals in 82 appearances over the next two seasons.

He joined Gateshead in the summer of 2016 and scored 17 goals in 72 league appearances

He spent time on loan to Brackley in 2019/20 and then moved to the Northamptonshire outfit on a more permanent basis in August 2020.
