He had signed for the Peacocks in October 2018 from Vanarama National League North side Hereford.

A versatile left-sided player, he is a product of the Bristol City academy and played for Gloucester City for three-and-a-half years before joining Hereford in the summer of 2018.

Meanwhile, manager John Rendell has snapped up central midfielder Joe Hall, with the former Bristol City and Mangotsfield United youngster returning to Lodge Road having played under Paul Michael in the 2020/21 season.

The 22-year-old impressed in the 2020/21 pre-season and forced his way into the squad, demonstrating his outstanding technical ability, and despite his young age he has great experience at Southern League level.

Rendell told his club’s website: "Joe has had some nasty injuries and time out from his football since playing for the club a couple of seasons ago.

“Joe is a very decent footballer and has the mindset to improve further as we improve on his fitness levels".
