Well-Travelled Marksman Returns to Kings Langley

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Kings Langley have announced the return of much-travelled striker Rene Howe.

The experienced 36-year-old was a key member of Kings` 2018/19 side, scoring 10 goals in the campaign.

Howe had signed for Kings in August 2018 after just over a month with rivals Hendon.

He had joined the Greens from Kettering Town, where he made 168 appearances scoring 63 goals in two spells.

He began his career at Bedford Town and has also played for Peterborough United, Burton Albion, Newport County, Torquay United, Bristol Rovers and Newport County, making almost 250 League appearances in his career.

He joined the sadly now defunct Walton Casuals in early September 2019 from Kings Langley, switched to Farnborough in late January 2020 and then re-joined Bedford in July 2020.

He left the Eagles in the summer of 2022 after helping them to win the Division One Central title and remained in that division with Ware before re-joining Bedford in December 2022.
