Chadwick signed his first professional contract with the U's in the summer of 2022.
He progressed through United's academy and completed his scholarship before spending the 2021/22 season with St Neots Town, then members of the Southern League Division One Central.
He is no stranger to Royston supporters, however, as he spent a short time on loan at Garden Walk from February 2023, due to an injury to Dimitrios Kyriazis.
As well as Royston and St Neots, Chadwick has also gained experience on loan at Cambridge City and Brentwood Town.
