Bragg Signs for Salisbury

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Salisbury have signed defender Tom Bragg from Vanarama National League side Eastleigh.

He actually started his football at Eastleigh before joining Southampton at the age of 10 and was at St Mary`s until he was 16.

He was then picked up by Scottish Premiership side Hibernian, training with their reserves but playing predominantly at under-18 level.

He moved at Christmas 2018 to Fife Elite and was offered a two-year apprenticeship by Scottish Championship outfit Dunfermline Athletic in May 2019.

He was loaned out to League Two side Kelty Hearts from August 2019 until November 2019 before returning south and joining Eastleigh`s elite development squad.

A year later, he was rewarded with his first professional contract in 2021 and made his Spitfires debut in January 2022 as a late substitute against Weymouth.

Manager Brian Dutton told his club's website: "Tom is a young centre-back who I feel will be a fantastic addition to our team.

"Tom is a player who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and wants to progress his career back into full-time football. I’m delighted Tom has decided to join us when he had numerous other teams at higher levels vying for his signature. I’m sure Tom will have an excellent campaign with us this season".
