New Keeper for Coalville

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Coalville Town have signed goalkeeper Tom Carter following an impressive trial period.

Birmingham-based, he started his career in the West Bromwich Albion and MK Dons youth set-ups before signing for Scottish Premiership side Hibernian in January 2022 to link up with their `B` side.

He also had senior experience with then-Isthmian League North outfit Soham Town Rangers after leaving Stadium MK in November 2021.

Whilst with Hibs, he was sent out on loan to Scottish Lowland League side Tranent JFC.

After the expiry of his contract with Hibs in May, he has now signed for the Ravens to gain more first team experience.

This follows the news that regular number one Paul White has received an extra six-game ban for abusive language following his dismissal away at Ilkeston Town last season.
