Defender & Wide Player Added to Kings Langley Group

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Kings Langley have snapped up defender Shaun Keane and wide player Rayan Clarke.

Twenty-year-old Keane moves to The Orbital Fasteners Stadium from Premier Division Central outfit Royston Town, where he had been since the summer of 2022 after arriving from former league rivals Peterborough Sports.

He helped the Turbines to win promotion to the Vanarama National League North after joining in January 2022 from Bedford Town before returning a month later.

He started his career as a youngster with Leyton Orient before moving to Peterborough United, spending four years with each.

He was released by Posh in the summer of 2021 and joined the Eagles in August.

Clarke, 22, started the 2022/23 season with Hayes & Yeading United in after featuring in the under-23 side at Tottenham Hotspur.

He started out in the youth set up at Spurs, playing for the Premier League side at under-18 level before progressing to the under-23s.

In October 2022 he moved to Westfield and then in December 2022, switched to New Salamis.
