Poppies Borrow Boro Boy for the Season

Andy Leese, manager of Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Kettering Town, has secured the season-long loan of Owen Cochrane from League One side Stevenage.

Cochrane is a right back, and has featured in the Stevenage academy, as well as in first-team games for the club.

He joined Stevenage as an under-14, progressing through the academy to make his EFL debut against Salford City in December 2021.

He signed his first professional contract with Boro in June.

He has played as a triallist in the majority of pre-season games for the Poppies.
