The 23-year-old makes the short trip from league rivals Hanwell Town, where he had been since the summer of 2022.
He signed for Braintree Town after spells with Staines Town and Northwood in December 2020.
He then had time out on loan with Marlow, Saffron Walden Town and Brightlingsea Regent.
He has an excellent left foot which will assists with getting forward as well as being solid with his defensive duties.
Meanwhile, Prince Kandolo has been retained by Boro for 2023/24.
The centre-back graduated to the first team after impressing for the under-23s last season.
Winger Joseph Lawal has also been retained.
His 2022/23 season was hampered by injury, but he's now back fit and ready to make up for lost time.
