Dasilva Coup for Waders

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Biggleswade Town have pulled off something of a coup by signing defender Cole Dasilva.

The 24-year-old joins the Waders from Premier Division Central side Royston Town.

He had joined the Crows in September 2022 from Vanarama National League South outfit Hemel Hempstead Town.

He had only joined the Tudors in July 2022 from Oxford City - the full-back arriving at Marsh Lane in March 2022.

Unusually capped by Wales at under-15 level, for England at under-16s and then choosing Wales again where he has won honours at under-17, 19, 20 and under-21 level, he began in Luton Town’s academy before moving to Chelsea, making 2 appearances in the EFL Trophy in 2017.

He joined Brentford’s B team in 2018 and was released two years later, going on to spend a short period with Leicester City under-23s.

He then signed for Croatian First League club HNK Sibenik in 2021 before joining the Hoops towards the end of the 2021/22 season, helping them to reach the National League South play-offs.
