Coldicott-Stevens Helping The Crows Fly

Summer signing helping to make things happen for Royston Town

Summer signing, Josh Coldicott-Stevens, played a key role in Royston Town’s successful Bank Holiday weekend which saw them beat Coalville Town and Hitchin Town to make it four games unbeaten.

Monday’s 2-1 triumph at Hitchin was extra special as it came against his former club.

“It was very strange being back at the club and getting booed by the home fans,” he said with a smile. “It’s all part of football; I was there for four years and had some good times at the club.

“But it was nice to go there and get the three points to keep us rolling. We’re starting to build a bit of momentum now and I am settling in well.

“I’m getting to grips with the way that the Gaffer wants us to play and, importantly, I am enjoying my football.”

The Crows face Cheshunt on Saturday in the first round qualifying of the Emirates FA Cup.
