Shaq Attack

Hat-trick for Hippolyte-Patrick as Chesham United march on

Chesham United made it six League wins out of six on Tuesday evening as they went to Hanwell Town and secured a commanding 3-0 victory.

It was an extra special night for Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick who grabbed a hat-trick to take his tally for the season to six goals from six games.

“He should have scored five,” said joint manager, Michael Murray, with a smile at the end. “I am always harsh on Shaq but at the same time, I’m also his biggest fan and he took his goals really well.”

His first goal came within the opening 90 seconds before he was able to double his advantage ten minutes from the end of the first half. He completed his hat-trick right at the death.

“We changed our shape over the summer and Shaq has really come into his own this season,” added Murray. “He’s a constant threat and works so hard for his team-mates.

“The way he took all three of his goals here was fantastic and I am absolutely delighted for him because he is a great lad.”

Saturday sees the two teams with 100% records at the top of the Pitching In Southern League Premier South go head-to-head as Chesham head to Merthyr Town in what will be a mouth-watering contest between two sides with plenty of confidence.
