There’s a familiar face back at the Barwell helm as Jimmy Ginnelly takes charge of the club for the first time on Saturday since his return on an interim basis to replace Ian King.
The experienced Ginnelly, who previously had an eight-year spell at the club as assistant manager and manager, will be assisted by Guy Hadland who has also previously served the club as both player and manager.
Barwell sit in the middle of the table and head to Stamford on the back of wins in each of their previous two games.
For the managerial duo it is all about putting smiles on faces, both amongst the players and supporters.
“This has always been a family club where the fans come first,” said Ginnelly. “The fans want to be entertained; the players are the entertainers and Guy and I are the ones who put on the show the best we can.
“The important thing is to be able to put smiles on faces. We want to get the whole place bouncing and build some momentum.
“The supporters here know me and what I am all about. They’ve always been fantastic to myself and Guy and we both have a tremendous amount of respect for them.
“All I expect from these final ten games is 100% from everyone. We’ve had some good training sessions and now we go into some tough games, starting at the weekend.
“I’ve given the players a target of wins, I’m not going to say what it is, but they know what we expect from them.”
