Experienced Forward Joins Bristol Manor Farm

Farm sign winger with European experience.

Southern League Division One South club Bristol Manor Farm have signed wide player Dan Spencer from Cymru Premier side Cardiff Metropolitan University.

The 27-year-old is a good example of someone who has made a good career for himself after suffering the disappointment of being released as a young player.

Spencer was allowed to leave AFC Bournemouth at the age of 15.

But, despite that massive disappointment, he rolled up his sleeves and moved to Wales to study at Cardiff Met University and, after a stint in the United States, qualified and is now a lecturer in Teaching and Research Sport Coaching at Cardiff Met.

He turned out regularly for the university side in the top level of Welsh football and tasted European football in the Europa League.
