Ipswich Youngster Loaned to Lowestoft

Young Tractor Boy loaned to Trawlerboys

Making his debut for Lowestoft Town in Tuesday night`s 1-0 home win over Peterborough Sports was young forward Colin Oppong, who has signed on loan from League One neighbours Ipswich Town.

Giving a man-of-the-match performance for the Trawlerboys, the youngster joined Ipswich from Irish side Cliftonville in January 2019 on academy forms.

He had been a guest player for the Tottenham Hotspur under-17s in April 2019 when they were Involved in the ABN Amro Future Cup in Amsterdam.

He is no stranger to the non-League game, however, having had a loan spell with Isthmian League North Division side Bury Town from September 2019 until January 2020, making 13 appearances for the Blues.
