Forward Jamie Bird has re-joined Pitching In Southern Football League Division One South club Bristol Manor Farm.

The 23-year-old left The Creek in February 2021 to join JD Cymru Premier side Barry Town United but has now put pen-to-paper on a contract for Lee Lashenko`s side.

Bird started out as a Cardiff City academy graduate and was handed a professional contract by the Bluebirds at the age of 17.

However, he was then released by the Championship outfit in the summer of 2017, following a loan spell with Weston-super-Mare.

He joined Hereford FC in September 2017, helping the side to the Southern Premier South title, and started the 2018/19 well in the National League North, scoring a late winner in a 2-1 win over Leamington. But the Welshman failed to establish himself in the side and was released in October 2018 when he surprisingly dropped several levels to join Welsh League Division Two side Croesyceiliog.

But that was short-lived as he was quickly snapped up by Manor Farm.
