Lee Allinson, manager of Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Hendon, has made another new signing and seen three more commit to the 2021/22 campaign from last season`s squad.

Hamza Semakula has become the Greens latest new arrival at Silver Jubilee Park.

A former England Colleges representative, he has impressed Allinson in midfield so far in pre-season and scored twice on Tuesday against Spartan South Midlands League neighbours Edgware Town.

He joins having been with St Panteleimon in the Spartan South Midlands League Division One last season (the Greek Orthodox community side have now been switched to the Combined Counties League for 2021/22).

He started out in Vanarama National League side Boreham Wood`s academy and made one first-team appearance whilst at Meadow Park.

He has also had spells with Isthmian League South Central Division outfit Chalfont St Peter and Enfield Borough – another side switched from the SSML to the CCL this summer.

Allinson has also got Shaun Lucien, Tom Smith and Joe Howe to commit to the 2021/22 campaign.

Wide player Lucien, 29, started his career at Brentford before moving to Hampton & Richmond Borough, Uxbridge and Harrow Borough.

He switched from Harrow to neighbours Wealdstone in 2014 and then joined St Albans City at the end of May 2016.

A spell with Hendon was followed by joining Hampton in June 2018.

He switched to Southern Premier Division Central club Biggleswade Town towards the end of the 2018/19 season and then re-united with Allinson at Hendon in November 2019.

Smith is a 6`3” centre-back who signed for Biggleswade Town in May 2018 and also followed Allinson to Hendon in November 2019.

The 27-year-old previously held the captain`s position at Hayes & Yeading United and also played for Barton Rovers, London Colney and Harpenden Town.

Howe is an experienced 33-year-old defender who joined Hendon on a more permanent basis in July 2020.

He had been on loan from National League South side St Albans City from November 2019 until lockdown.

He had joined the Saints from league rivals Hemel Hempstead Town in June 2019.

He began his career as part of the MK Dons academy, before being offered his first professional contract in 2006 with the club.

After leaving the Dons, he had spells with Northampton Town, Kettering Town, Welling United, Fisher Athletic and Croydon Athletic before joining Ebbsfleet United in 2010.

The right-back went on to make over 200 appearances for the Fleet before moving onto Bromley, Leatherhead and then Hemel.
